so, after some icky setup work, i got aolserver up. the openacs setup looks pretty messy though. have to fix the postgre modules and other stuff like that. ooh fun.

while on my hardware bent, i’d like to mention: HOLY SHIT when did ram get so cheap?!? <60 bux / 128MB stick of PC133, <$120 for 256MB. yowza. i'd buy some but i'm broke. and i'll be saving up for an eventual new system/upgrade (moving my current machine to a file/web/db server, and putting together a new workstation). this antec case is pretty slick.
i also got my coolpix 950 back from nikontech. ccd is all fixed, which is great. means i can start taking tons of useless pictures without feeling dirty.
