A quick check of Pricewatch reveals the 1 GHz Pentium III to be listed at $489, with the 933 MHz part at $337. For comparison, Pricewatch shows the 1 GHz Thunderbird at $254, and the 950 MHz chip at $223. These prices are the lowest price listed in each case.
