hmm, interesting. i have 110 dcom enabled applications running on my system. cmd prompt: ‘dcomcnfg’ to find out how many you have. if i were cool i would have written a form you could fill out to have a dcom application # poll (figuring out avgs, mins, and maxes) but i’m not cool, so here’s a link to bruce schneier’s june 15 cryptogram which initiated this whole train of thought.
