openRTSP – a command-line RTSP client. Doesn’t understand most of the more recent QT payload types, doesn’t talk Real’s proprietary RDT protocol, buut is a good way to see what RTSP (RFC 2326) is up to.

- StreamBox VCR Suite v2.0 – the venerable StreamBox VCR keeps on ticking
- Net Transport – a great download tool, (d/l mirror)
- SDP Multimedia – these guys reverse engineered MMS
- Project URL Snooper – very good sniffer/decoder
