despite a compelling premise (and a decent start), titan ae ended up sucking. the semicool elements couldn’t withstand stupid characterizations and a ridiculous plot. actually, the characters seem to do mysterious flip flops to conveniently move the story along, and too much of the stuff just happens for no good reason at all, including the premise — if anyone can tell me why exactly the energy aliens destroyed the earth in the first place, please do tell.
