for those not on the up and up wrt to the stuff that went on this past week in philly. i find it disappointing after looking through cnn, abc, and wp, i didn’t find any coverage of police mistreatment of protestors. zmag has some coverage. pschmied also has a good summary.
i must have missed out on when the multiple windows thing became popular in europe. (from chi-web) admittedly, neither handle closing very robustly, the geri site not doing it at all (suckage) and the levi’s site working if you close any child window, but not the parent.
feeling under the weather today. partially it’s because of these huge honking bug bites i have on my arm, leg, and neck, which may or may not be related to my general feeling of queasiness.
i’m looking at deepleap, and cool as it is, i can’t help but think how much more convenient it’d be if it automatically updated if you left it open and went to a new page. you could probably futz it with a timer checking your main window, but ideally you’d probably do it with the ie search pane or mozilla tool tab. another thing to chalk up on my todo list
