ontrack charges a $100 examination fee and price range from $500-$5,000. eco data recovery has a quote of $1,275 for a successful recovery. well, i’m not gonna be doing this anytime soon. maybe next year or so i might consider it. the great irony of the situation is that i installed an onstream tape drive this weekend, but it didn’t work because of driver funkiness. oh well.
