just doing some catchup, since i’m spending some time online anyway. i learned vi over the past week. it’s not that bad once you remember some of the commands, heheh.

also got allergy tested, and it turns out i’m really allergic to dust mites, like twice the reaction to dust mite allergen than the histamine control. also allergic to: tree, weed, grass pollen, mold, fungus, cockroach, and cat and dog hair. heheh, no wonder my sinuses are always inflamed.

hmm, i could surf all day w/ my wall projection, or i could finish unpacking, set up my .forwards, and then start replying to the several hundred emails i have let accumulate over the past weeks…

<gloat>ahh, who needs a monitor when you have an epson data projector throwing a 6 foot wide screen on your living room wall.</gloat> i’ll be sorry to see this thing go next week. until then, i’ll be watching a lotta movies. 😉

i haven’t been reading /. recently because of all the work i’ve been doing, and i forget how much time it takes up. i mean, it’s worth it i think. take this story

i always have this nagging ambivalent feeling though. even with the scattered insightful or moving posts, it almost seems like i am reading the same threads of arguments… and forgetting them. of course that’s not true, but that’s what what it feels like. the ambivalent part is that i should remember this… maybe if i had a better km.

i guess it used to be the same way when i was on newsgroups, and on echos before that. umm, hmm, i don’t think i really have a point. i wish there were more hours in the day.
