wow, mod_gzip is pretty cool. it will automagically gzip requests if you’re browser can support it (which it most likely can). oh, hey here’s a webrefence article on http compression. anyway, there’s also a little script, mgstat that will track your bandwidth savings, which can be pretty sizable.
