This is a simple app to help you calculate Energy Drain shield damage.
Notes:
Base Damage is 220
Shield Damage is 3x Base Damage
I'm unsure of how organic/synthetic/armor damage works so I've left it out; this calculator is mostly for figuring out how this interacts w/ draining shields...
Phantoms (2362.5), Geth Pyros (2633), and shielded Elites can't be 1-shotted even w/ Max ED and PA3
Geth Hunter (2278) shield can be 1-shotted w/ Max ED + PA2+
You can choose weapon damage for SO4 or SO5 and still be able to 1-shot Turret shields (2025), but won't be able to 1-shot a Geth Hunter even with PA3
Using Disruptor/Warp ammo will allow bypassing the shield gate if the extra damage from the ammo bonus exceeds the shield left. Shotgun pellets are also applied separately.
Widow X does 1083.3 damage; Max ED will leave 217.5 on Phantom shields. Warp 2+ ammo is required to bypass (Warp 2 does 270.825), allowing a 1-shot cloaked kill (body shot even if the Phantom doesn't have her barrier palm up) after ED
Alternatively, 1 cloaked Claymore Pellet easily takes care of it. With 7 pellets left, a cloaked Claymore X should be able to 1-shot a Phantom (1687.5 health) if 5 or more pellets hit. A cloacked headshot (w/ 20% headshot bonus) pellet should do 1081.5 damage.
Based on this information, here are some builds:
Max ED SI - w/ PA3 and any Disruptor/Warp ammo, can 1-shot a Phantom; w/ PA3 and Warp 3 can 1-shot a Geth Pyro; Note, I don't recommend Mantis+Bonus Power (to do an additional ED w/ 2.54s cooldown in cloak) as you will need to headshot to 1-shot mobs - take the Sniper Bonus. You'll have about the same cooldown and a better DPS if you just cloak right before you shoot. If you have a BW, try to see which suits your playstyle better (personally, I score about 25% higher w/ BW vs W)
Switch Hitter SI - a "balanced" build, that's good for Sniper Rifles and Shotguns. 20% headshot for shotgun, Sniper Damage and Sniper Rifle weight for sniping. You could still choose Weapon Damage for SO6, but using a low-level Black Widow or Javelin, that's a 1-2s cooldown difference. You'll probably be running objectives and doing revives enough to feel that, whereas you won't feel a 10% damage difference when you're mostly overkilling mobs or hitting shield gates.
Claymore SI - takes 20% headshot on SO5 (extra 103 dmg/headshot pellet vs 126 dmg *total* dmg bonus if you swapped SO4; also keeps 0.5s max cooldown bonus; useful for objectives); takes Weapon Damage for SO6 since you don't care about Sniper Rifle Weight
